Today I biked 24 km in total, all the way to Vancouver and the round trip took 2 hours. The end goal is to develop my stamina and muscles enough to get to Stanley park.Next time, I’ll have to look at the alternative route through the airport in order to reduced the amount of time I waste getting there. Richmond is mostly flat and I have ridden my bike a few times in the past so I was pretty conditioned to the road here, it was when I actually got into the mountainous road of Vancouver that I decided to stop. This time, my muscle gave out before my stamina.

I am actually quite surprised that I didn’t need to stop to drink water or eat any food to replenish my energy, indicating that I can go further and it’s just a matter of training the muscle’s endurance from now on.
